Shannon Pigram is a talented manager and organiser working in the HR field. Based out of Melbourne, he is currently the global Professional Development Manager at Norman, Disney & Young.

Shannon’s expertise is in enhancing the performance of people in organisations. Accomplishing this goal requires a multifaceted effort that he developed during his educational background and career path.

From creating strategies for management to engage with employees to developing national learning programs, his comprehensive approach has proven to be a success on national and global levels.


Shannon Pigram is from Brisbane, Queensland, where he went to Hendra Secondary College in 1995. He graduated from Hendra in 1999. He then earned a graduate certificate in law from Griffith University, also located in Brisbane, in 2002.

After graduating, he began his career in organisational development. He starting working in compliance for WorkCover Queensland, where he stayed for five years. In 2008, he took a role with QBE. After spending the next three years at QBE, he began working for Xchanging, located in Melbourne.

During his time at Xchanging, he went back to university in 2013. In 2015, he graduated from Monash University with a Master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Shannon Pigram started with Xchanging in 2012. An international insurance company in Melbourne, Xchanging has offices around the world. As the Learning and Development Manager for Victoria, he facilitated regional talent management efforts. He ran programs at a state level for three years with great success.

Due to his success in Victoria, he was offered the position of National Learning and Development Manager in 2015 where he was responsible for company culture and developing learning programs and employee engagement strategies.

Shannon is currently global Professional Development Manager at international engineering consultancy firm Norman, Disney & Young.

A born leader, Shannon loves to take on new projects. He enjoys communicating and strategizing and is passionate about employee engagement and talent management. Shannon is part of a number of projects around the country, including assisting with the development of his partner’s company boutique Prahran graphic design firm Studio Jack.
